3 held, adulterated tea powder worth Rs 57 lakh seized
Bangalore, May 17 (UNI) Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths today arrested three people and seized 31 tonnes of adulterated tea powder, worth about Rs 57 lakh, during a raid on two godowns in the city.
CCB Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mulla said acting on an information about the sale of adulterated tea powder in the city, the raid was conducted on two godowns belonging to Prakash Tea Agency and Kwaja Tea Agency in the city.
Prakash Tea Agency owner Sridar and Kwaja Tea Agency proprietor Akram Ulla and his assistant Yunush Pasha were arrested.
