Youth held with Chinese pistol in Jammu

Jammu, May 16 (UNI) Police today arrested a youth along with a Chinese Pistol in Domana area on the city outskirts, official sources said.

''Acting on a tip-off, a trap was laid down by the police party for the accused this afternoon. He was arrested on-the-spot at a nakka laid down near Domana,'' Station House Officer, Domana, Gian Chand Sharma told UNI.

The accused has been identified as Jyoti Sharma, a resident of Ranbir Singh Pura, the police officer said, adding he has been booked under 7/25 Arms Act.
