Madhya Pradesh: Three held for betting in IPL match

Indore, May 16: Three bookies were arrested on the charge of betting in the Indian Premier League match between Deccan Chargers and Delhi Daredevils and betting slips worth Rs seven lakh seized from them, police said today.

On a tip-off, a raid was carried out at house in Sudama Nagar area here last night. Bharat Maheshwari, Vinod Agrawal and Ritesh Agrawal were arrested. House owner Satveer Singh was detained for abetting the crime.

Besides betting slips, Rs 30,000, four mobile phones, one tape recorder, television sets and other equipments were also seized.
