Raid at mafia don Munna Bajrangi's house IN up
Jaunpur, May 16 (UNI) Police today raided the house of wanted Mafia don Munna Bajrangi here, but failed to arrest him.
Acting on an information, police conducted the raid at Prem Prakash alias Munna Bajrangi's house and took six people, including accused's brother Bhuval Singh, for inquiry, after the criminal was not found.
However, they were set free later, Police Superintendent Chandra Prakash here said.
The police have spread a dragnet at village Kaseru to nab the mafia, who has been carrying a bounty of Rs 12 lakh on his head, he added.
Bajrangi was also accused in BJP MLA Krishnanad Rai murder case.
On November 2005, seven people, including the MLA, were murdered in Mohamdi area of Ghazipur.
