Four envoys present credentials to President
New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) Envoys of Turkey, El Salvador, Brunei Darussalam and Monaco presented their credentials to President Pratibha Devisingh Patil here today.
Ambassador of El Salvador Patricia Figueroa, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam Sidek bin Ali, Ambassador of Turkey Levent Bilman and Ambassador of Monaco Rainier Imperti presented their credentials at a ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
During her interaction with the Heads of Missions, the President said India has consistently sought friendly relations with all countries.
''India is billion plus nation with a multi-cultural, multi-religious and multi-ethnic society with a growing economy and there would be many areas of cooperation and collaboration that would promote trade, investment and the eople-to-people contacts,'' she added.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the diplomatic missions, the External Affairs Ministry and the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
