Family found unconscious inside house

Sangrur, May 16 (UNI) Six members of a family including children were found unconscious inside their residence in Jakhapal village in the district this morning, police here said.

They were found lying in their respective rooms inside the house by villagers who had to break open the front entrance after no one responded to calls of a village resident in the morning. They were admitted at the civil hospital at Sunam and are still not in a position to give a statement to the police.

Officials said that only after recording the statement of the family members would the police register an FIR in case there is some foul play.
