Earth's temp to rise by four deg Cel by 2100

Shillong, May 16 (UNI) The average temperature of earth will increase by four degrees by 2100, according to a report by Cardiff University, United Kingdom.

A two-day seminar on May 23 will provide scientific information and awareness about climate change, its impact and consequences.

The seminar, to be organised by Synod College and Roberts Theological Seminary, would also create a sense of responsibility among the people to protect the environment.

A lecture on the changing of climate would be delivered by Dr Hefin jones, faculty of the Cardiff University and member of the European Science Foundation.
