Congress hopes to perform well in second phase

New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) The Congress Party today said its propsects in the second phase of the polling in Karnataka would be good in view of the heavy polling.

"Congress hopes to perform well in the second phase," AICC Spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told mediapersons, while pointing out that the poll percentage was very high today.

He said his note of optimism was on the basis of the feedback that the party had received from different channels of communication, including its own.
