Chautala exhorts voters to elect INLD to change system
Hisar, May 16 (UNI) The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) today called upon the people of Adampur to elect its candidate Prof Sampat Singh to ''change the political system'' in the state.
Addressing election meetings in various villages of Adampur, INLD president and former Chief Minister Om Parkash Chautala claimed only INLD could bring a change in the state as Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) candidate and erstwhile Congress candidates had already been given chance by the electorate in the last general elections and they had totally ''failed'' in performing their duties.
Mr Chautala said for the last 40 years, the HJC and the Congress have been winning in the Adampur but the area had remained the ''most backward'' in the state.
''People have realised that time had come to teach a lesson to the Congress government and the Bhajan Lal family for the neglect of area in development and employment,'' he said.
