Vodafone slashes STD rates to Re1 per min

New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) Country's leading telecom operator Vodafone Essar today launched a scheme enabling its customers to call anywhere in the country for Re one per minute.

The service will be available to both prepaid and post-paid customers at a monthly rental of only Rs 31, company said in a statement.

Earlier in the month, Bharti Airtel had slashed its STD and roaming rates by 43 per cent.

Vodafone has operations in 25 countries across five continents and 40 partner networks with over 252 million customers worldwide.
