Thai's daylight for Delhi-Bangkok flights
New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) Thai Airways will launch four 'daylight flights' between Delhi and Bangkok tomorrow, it was announced today.
The new flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with the flights departing from New Delhi at 1205 hrs (IST) and arriving at Bangkok at 1800 hrs local time, the airline said in a statement.
With the introduction of the new flights, Thai's weekly flights will increase to 11, providing travellers to better onward connections to 77 cities in five continents.
The airline also plans introduce three additional flights each from Bangalore and Mumbai by July 1, raising the frequency of flights to 50 a week from India to Thailand, the statement said.
The daylight flights will use the spacious Boeing B747's which has a total seating capacity of 388-- 64 seats in the Royal Executive Class and 324 seats in Economy Class.
Currently, Thai Airways International operates daily flights from four Indian cities-- Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai and has five flights every week from Hyderabad to Bangkok.
