Sonia to go to Jaipur
Rae Bareilly, May 15 (UNI) UPA Chairperson and Congress president Sonia Gandhi left for New Delhi this morning, from where she will be leaving for Jaipur to assess the situation in view of Tuesday's serial blasts.
Ms Gandhi airdashed to New Delhi from Fursatganj airport, where she will be joined by Home Minister Shivraj Patil for her trip to Jaipur, Congress chief spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh said here.
Ms Gandhi had to shorten her stay in Rae Bareilly by a day in order to visit Jaipur.
Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will reach his Parliamentary Constitutuency Amethi tomorrow for a two-day visit, Mr Singh said.
