RSP supporters protest Basanti killings

Nadia, May 15 (UNI) RSP supporters in the district today protested before the District Magistrate's office against yesterday's killings at Basanti.

District administrative sources here said that RSP activists, agitated over last afternoon's incident, broke furniture and window panes of the DM's office.

Meanwhile, police sources said the situation was under control but tension still prevailed in the area.

When police rushed to the DM's office to prevent the agitators from barging into the office, they got involved in a scuffle with the RSP supporters, police added.
