Raj govt to constitute STF to deal terrorism
Jaipur, May 15 (UNI) Rajasthan Government has decided to constitute Special Task Force (STF) for dealing with terrorist and disruptive activities.
Talking to reporters here today, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said the STF was being constituted on lines of those working in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and some other states.
She said models of STF working in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh were being procured for studies.
The Chief Minister added that expertise of super cop KPS Gill would also be availed.
Ms Raje said the action for setting up of the STF had already been initiated.
Expressing concern over emerging threats of terrorism in the country, Ms Raje has reiterated her demand of early clearance from the Centre, to the Rajasthan Organised Crime Proection Bill which was pending for the past two years.
She also stressed the need of early implementation of Girish Saxena Committee recommendations over strengthenin of Intelligence and security set up.
