Nashik district's credit plan for 2008-09 at Rs 2968 cr
Nashik, May 15 (UNI) The Nashik District Credit Plan for the year 2008-09 was released at the hands of district collector S Chokhalingam today.
Nashik district's total credit plan for 2008-09 is Rs 2968.11 crore, which includes Rs 2439.18 crore for priority sector and Rs 528.93 crore for the non-priority sector.
The sector-wise outlay under the priority sector is as follows: Agriculture -- Rs 1904.67 crore (79 per cent), Non-farm sector -- Rs 234.37 crore (9 per cent) and other priority sector -- Rs Rs 300.14 crore (12 per cent).
The plan has provision of Rs 155.80 crore for government schemes. The overall rise in the credit plan this year is of 13 per cent, in comparison to last year (Rs 2623.78 crore).
