IED containing 10 kg RDX recovered in Jammu

Jammu, May 15: A remote control IED, containing 10 kg of RDX explosive, was recovered by security forces in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, an official spokesman today said.

Acting on a tip-off, troops of 10 Rashtriya Rifles (RAJPUT) recovered an improvised explosive device (IED) containing 10 kg RDX powder from a militants' hideout in Chineni area of Doda district yesterday, the spokesman said.

Besides IED, one Radio set (IKON) and an electronic control box were also recovered from the hideout, the spokesman added.
