French Naval Ship in ENC

Visakhapatnam, May 15 (UNI) French Naval Ship, FS Dupleix, today arrived at the Naval Base here on a two-day visit.

An ENC release said commanded by Captain Henri Schricke, the ship was an F70 anti-submarine frigate of the French Marine Mationale.

The ship was received by the officers and sailors of ENC whose band was in attendance when the ship arrived this afternoon.

During their stay here, the French Naval Personnel will play a friendly football match against the Eastern Fleet Team of the ENC.

Besides exchange of visits between the personnel of the two Navies, there would be professional interaction.

The officers and crew of the ship were also scheduled to visit various places of interest in and around the city.
