Audi achieves strong sales figures for Jan-April 2008

Mumbai, May 15 (UNI) German luxury car manufacturer Audio has notched up sales of 321 cars in the first four months of 2008, a jump of 123 per cent, compared to sales of 144 units during the same period (January-April) in 2007.

The Company's strong performance is led by the Audi A6 and the Audi Q7 SUV. The Company will launch its new Audi A4 sedan in July and has targeted sales of 1,000 units in 2008, a release said here today.

Performance in the Asia-Pacific region was also strong with sales up by 18.2 per cent in April 2008. Worldwide sales grew by 1.7 per cent during the same period to 338,033 cars, the release said.
