Age limit for engineers raised to 45 years in MP
Bhopal, May 15 (UNI) In an unusual gesture, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to raise the age limit upto 45 years for direct recruitment of engineers in the Public Works department.
The state cabinet, which took a decision in this regard yesterday, relaxed the age limit to facilitate serving Sub-Engineers working on regular basis and degree-holder engineers working on daily wage to apply for appointment as Assistant Engineer through the Public Service Commission.
In the first phase, 60 Assistant Engineers will be recruited and 40 others in the second phase, official sources said.
Similarly, degree and diploma holder engineers working in PWD on daily wage would be given the age relaxation upto 45 years in the appointment of Sub-Engineers.
