Too early to blame anybody for Jaipur blasts: Menon
New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) India today refrained from putting immediate blame on terrorist groups based in Pakistan and Bangladesh for the serial bomb blasts in Jaipur yesterday, saying it was too early to jump to any conclusion as investigatons were on.
''We are still looking into the matter. We are still in the process of investigation and do not want to jump to any conclusion,'' Foreign Secretary Shivshanker Menon said at a press conference here.
He said the government could take a decision only when it come to a conclusion.
Asked there were reports of HUJI also being involved in the explosions and whether the government would take up the matter with the Bangladesh authorities, the Foreign Secretary reiterated that the government was still looking into the incident.
He, however, expressed determination to combating and eliminating terrorism.
''We will combat it (terrorism), deal with it and eliminate it,'' Mr Menon asserted.
