Shivraj Patil condemns Jaipur blast

Shillong, May 14 (UNI) Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil today condemed the series of blasts, that rocked the Pink City yesterday saying that it was designed to create terror in the country.

Mr Patil, who was here to assess the law and order situation in Meghalaya, said the Centre has got some information about the terrorist group, which triggered the blast last evening, but would not divulge the details now.

He also urged the people to stand united in this situation of crisis and fight against the extremists.

Meanwhile, the Forensic Science report has confirmed the use of RDX in yesterday's serial blasts in Jaipur, which claimed at least 67 lives and left nearly 200 others injured.

He left for Nagaland today to study the law and situation in that state.
