Ramond Peter assumes charge as special Election observer

Dharwad, May 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Transport Commissioner Mr Ramond Peter, who has been appointed as Special Election Observer for Bellary and for Kalghatagi in Dharwad district assumed charge here today.

While Bellary goes to poll in the second phase on May 16, the polling will be held in Kalghatagi in the third phase on May 22.

The Election Commission has made this appointment to ensure free and fair election in high volatile Bellary and Kalghatagi from where mining lobby supported candidates are in the fray.
