Precious metals fall in closing session

Mumbai, May 14 (UNI) Both the precious metals declined today with Silver down by Rs 235 per kg and Gold by Rs 85 per ten gm, due to persistent offerings from stockists, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 23,555 (23,790) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,870 (11,955) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,930 (12,015).
