Paswan launches tirade against Mayavati

Gulbarga, May 14 (UNI) Lok Janashakti founder and Union Minister Ramvilas Paswan today alleged that BSP supremo Mayavati has deviated from her party's Dalit path for political gain.

Launching a tirade against the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr Paswan alleged that Ms Mayavati has betrayed the Dalits and she had even showing no respect to her party founder late Kanshiram.

"She does not respect the architect of Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar." Addressing election meeting at Alland, about 60 km from here, he said that while Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) are fighting election for power, while BJP using its communal card to grab power.

Mr Paswan alleged that "Bahujan Samaj Party' has become "Brahmin Samaj Party'.

"Since no party is making sincere effort to uplift the oppressed sections of the society, people belonging to Dalit and Backward Class should unite to fight for their rights under constitution," he added.

Mr Paswan, accompanied by his brother Ramachandra Paswan, addressed a series of election meetings in the region.
