Kirloskar Brothers JV bags order worth Rs 934 cr

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) Kirloskar Brothers Ltd (KBL) today said its joint venture (JV) company MEIL-MAYTAS KBL has bagged contracts worth Rs 934 crores from the government of Andhra Pradesh, Irrigation and CAD Department.

''MEIL-MAYTAS KBL has bagged contracts worth Rs 934 crores from the government of Andhra Pradesh, Irrigation and CAD Department,'' the company said in a statement.

KBL portion of contract value is Rs 150 crores, it added.

The scope of work includes designs, drawings and construction of pump house for 35 nos lifts on branch / distributory canal in Chittoor and Anantpur district, three nos of lifts on main canal including electromechanical works and maintenance for 15 years.

Apart from that, it also involves investigation, preparation of hydraulic particulars, designs and drawings, excavation of HNSS main canal including construction of CM and CD works and distributory system under Punganur branch canal to feed an ayacut of 10,000 acres for AVR Hindri Niva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) project phase II, the statement said.
