Islamic organisations condemn Jaipur blasts
Mumbai, May 14 (UNI) Prominent Islamic organisations today condemned the serial blasts in Jaipur and urged the Muslim community to offer special prayers on Friday for those killed in the incident and for national peace.
While demanding harsh punishment for the perpetrators of the crime, the organisation also urged Muslims to root out terrorism.
Talking to UNI, Maulana Zaheer Abass Rizvi of All India Shia Personal Law Board said there was no place for terrorism in Islam and no religion tolerated terrorism. He pointed out that Quran prohibited killing of self or others.
Mr Shabbir Somji, a senior member of Khwaja Shia Isnnashari Jammat, said acts of terror against innocent people are against Islam. He also exhorted the Muslim community to raise its voice against terrorism.
Maulana Saeed Noori of Raza Acadmey said the Academy condemned the blasts. He, however, said in the name of investigations a particular community should not be targetted.
