Engineering student killed in student clash

Ludhiana, May 14 (UNI) An engineering student was killed while another seriously injured in a clash between two groups of students at Gurunanak Engineering College here today.

According to police sources, Rajdeep Singh and Sukhmanpreet Singh were attacked by a rival student group by a sharp-edged weapon.

Personal rivalry was said to be the reason behind the clash.

Both the students were rushed to hospital where Rajdeep was declared brought dead while Sukhmanpreet's condition was said to be critical.

Police has registered a case. However, no arrests have been made so far.
