Data Scribe launches new entity to help Income Tax payers
Bangalore, May 14 (UNI) Data Scribe Infotech Pvt Ltd, a 100 per cent EOU, registered with STPI, Bangalore has opened DS Consulting Service to help Income Tax payers in filing of Tax returns.
Mr P Pandurangarao of Data Scribe talking to newsmen here today said "our main aim is to make filing of Tax Returns easy and hassle free for individuals and to complement the efforts of the government of India to enhance compliance of Tax laws.
He said every year the number of people coming under IT net is increasing by 40 per cent to 45 per cent. In Bangalore alone, more than 60,000 added to the IT net. At the same time more than 80,000 to One lakh are not filing the IT Returns due to cumbersome methodology.
Mr Panduranga Rao said the government which has at present given option of filing of IT returns online or by filling the form, may make it mandatory for all to file the Returns online only as part of its e-governance action plan.
He said at present, there is no organised entity in this field and DSCS is the first of its kind to provide such services.
He said DSCS provides doorstep services to clients right from collecting tax computation papers and inputs, file the return online by creating a user ID as well as password, file the paper return at the local office of IT Dept and provide the acknowledgement to the clients.
