Cop failed to keep promise with wife

Jaipur, May 14 (UNI) Rajasthan Police constable Bharat Bhushan a victim of serial blast, had promised his recently wed wife to return home on Wednesday but destiny willed otherwise .

The 23-year old cop from Khudiana village in Alwar district had come Jaipur on Monday evening to discharge duty and was deployed outside the City Kotwali yesterday when powerful blast in a car blew him off.

Bharat Bhushan, eldest among three siblings, was married on February 3 earlier this year.While leaving for Jaipur on Monday he had promised his wife to return home on Wednesday.

However, promise remained unfulfilled as only his body reached in his native village today for cremation.

He was cremated this morning amid a squal and heavy downpour.

Meanwhile, another police personnel Deepak Yadav, Bharat Bhushan's batchmate, was also cremated in his native village Ratopura in Alwar district.
