Cong to observe LDF Govt's second anniversary as 'betrayal day'

Kozhikode, May 14 (UNI) The Congress in Kerala will observe May 18, the second anniversary of the LDF Government, as 'betrayal' day, Kerala Pradesh Congress President Ramesh Chennithala today said.

Stating that the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front had no right to celebrate the second anniversary, he told reporters here that the party would conduct protest meetings in all the districts and also in panchayats.

The LDF Government for the last two years had betrayed the people of the state and as such they had no moral right to celebrate the second anniversary, he charged.

Mr Chennithala alleged that government had lost its vision and there was no unity in the Cabinet. He also alleged that during the period, the state had seen no development programmes. The government had failed on all fronts, he claimed.
