BJP, Civil Liberties Committee condemn Jaipur blasts
Hyderabad, May 14 (UNI) Civil Liberties Monitoring Committee, India, today strongly condemned yesterday's serial blasts in Jaipur in which innocent people lost their lives and hundreds were injured.
According to a press release here, the Committee general secretary Lateef Mohd Khan said those behind the blasts were nobody but evil forces who were always thirst for human blood.
Demanding the Centre order a CBI enquiry into the blasts that ripped through the Pink City, Mr Khan said the investigation should be done keeping in view national security and citizen safety.
BJP state president Bandaru Dattatraya said, ''It is unfortunate that though India has been a target of international terrorist activity, we as a nation failed to establish appropriate mechanism to counter and neutralise terrorism.'' Demanding that the Centre and all state goernments act firmly against terrorism of all hues, he said there was need for cooperation among the all nations of the world in terms of sharing intelligence on terrorism and thereby eliminating it forever.
In a press release, the Conference of World Religion Secretary General Moulana Ghousavi Shah said the culprits should be dealt with seriously. There is no place for these type of killers in Islam or any other religion.
