Bangladesh Foreign Adviser condemns bomb blasts in India
Dhaka, May 14 (UNI) Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Advisor Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury has condemned the bomb blasts in Jaipur that killed at least 67 and left nearly 200 injured.
''It was a mindless and shameful act that deserves condemnation in the strongest terms,'' he said.
The Advisor said, ''Our hearts go out to the families of the victims and sympathies to the Indian authorities.'' ''They are terrorists who have done this sordid and heinous crime,'' he said, claiming terrorists have no boundaries.
When his attention was drawn to news items in the Indian media that Bangladesh-based HuJI may be involved in the blasts, he said, ''The media should not jump to conclusion before thorough investigation are conducted.'' UNI XC RSA DB1244
