Area commander of proscribed CPI(Maoist) arrested
Gaya, May 14 (UNI) An 'area commander' of proscribed CPI(Maoist) was arrested from Chabura Tola under Aanti police station in the district.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Harishankar Prasad here said, acting on a tip off, sleuths of local police conducted raids and arrested the Maoist from a criminal hideout at Chabura Tola.
Several criminal cases were lodged against him in different police stations of the district, he said adding the arrested was being interrogated.
