Jaipur, May 14 (UNI) The ruling BJP and Opposition Congress today traded allegations and counter allegations in a bid to dock each other for ''failure and inaction'' for executing administrative measures to prevent serial blasts in Jaipur.

BJP Prime Ministerial candidate LK Advani and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje blamed Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre for its weak response to terrorism and failure to provide intelligence feed back to state government over possibility of terror strike Mr Advani and Ms Raje said barring routine generalised and non specific circulars, the Centre did not give it tip off.

However, AICC General Secretary and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot countered the charges saying that the Centre had warned the state government twice since Novemeber last against possibility of terror strike in specific manner.

Mr Gehlot said that it was really unfortunate that Chief Minister and her Home Minister had dubbed the Home Ministry's communication as generalised routine correspondance.

He said the Centre's communications had specific reference about possibility of untoward incident in Moti Dungari and Hawamahal locality in the city.

Mr Advani said soft and weak response to terrorism had emboldened terrorists where as Mr Gehlot denied the charges and held that UPA Government had never acted soft as no no government could efford to be soft on such issue.
