Tributes paid to C Rama Krishna

Visakhapatnam, May 13 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to the mortal remains of late sepoy C Rama Krishna, which were brought at Naval air station INS Dega, this evening.

According to Eastern Naval Command (ENC) spokesman, the courageous soldier of 8 RR regiment sacrificed his life while he was on duty, during operation 'rakshak' at Baramula in Jammu and Kashmir.

The ceremonial guard of the ENC performed the solemn drill of 'Shok Shastra', which was followed by two minutes of silence and salami shastra.

Ramakrishna, a resident of Duggudurru Village in East Godavari District, is survived by mother, father, wife and a daughter.
