Three Juveniles running with coins caught red-handed

Mumbai, May 13 (UNI) Three juveniles were caught red-handed, when they were running away after stealing cash of Rs 1,776 from a public telephone coin box at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST).

Senior Inspector Sashanak Shinde said here today that at around 1705 hours yesterday, three youths--Mohammed Faizan Khan (16), Sonu alias Muzarheed Khan (16) and Asfat Hussain Shaikh (12), were arrested, while they were running after stealing cash of Rs 1,776 from a Tata Indicom public telephone coin box at CST. They had opened the coin box with key and were running with the coin bag.

However, another youth Aasu alias Sharfia Shaikh (12) managed to escape from the scene.

Mr Shinde said they were produced before Juvenile court, which sent them to seven-days custody at a childrens' remand home at Dongri.
