Rotate officials on sensitive posts every 2-3 years: CVC
New Delhi, May 13 (UNI) The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has issued a circular directing all ministries and government departments to ensure that officials posted on sensitive posts were ''rotated every two-three years to avoid developing vested interest''.
The CVC has asked the chief vigilance officers to identify and prepare a list of all sensitive posts in their organisation and send it by June 30.
The apex vigilance body has also pulled up all chief vigilance officers for not following a similar guideline issued to them earlier seeking a list of all sensitive posts.
''No information has been received by the commission so far.
The CVOs may, therefore, complete the exercise expeditiously now, and send it to the commission,'' the CVC circular said.
