Milind Deora urges for skywalks in south Mumbai
Mumbai, May 13 (UNI) Congress MP from South Mumbai Milind Deora has urged the Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) to construct skywalks in various congested areas of south Mumbai.
Skywalks would not only allow pedestrians to commute safely but also decongest roads for vehicular traffic, Mr Deora said in a release today.
''This is specifically important in south Mumbai as a large portion of the Mumbai public commute for their work here,'' he added.
The first skywalk of the city is right now under construction in Bandra.
