LNJP dismisses sting as ''misinformation''
New Delhi, May 13 (UNI) Dismissing as ''misinformation'' the sting operation on pilferage and diversion of food meant for patients, the state run-LNJP today gave a clean-chit to its employees, saying that food distribution is being undertaken as per ''routine''.
''The television channel is giving wrong information. Food distribution in the hospital is going on as per routine and under strict supervision.... This is an attempt to malign the image of the hospital,'' LNJP hospital Medical Superintendent Swaraj Batra said.
Giving a clean chit to the hospital employees, Dr Batra said she inquired into the allegations and found ''nothing wrong'' with the distribution.
''I have seen report on television, aired by an Hindi channel, and inquired into it nothing is wrong,'' she added.
She said the allegations about quality of food, hospital employees selling patients' food and outsiders allowed in the hospital kitchen were all baseless.
