Husband gets 10 years RI in dowry death case
Patna, May 13 (UNI) A fast track court here today awarded ten years Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) to a husband in a dowry death case.
Fast Track court judge K M Srivastav found the accused Sushil Kumar, a doctor posted in a hospital at Paharganj in New Delhi, guilty and awarded him RI under sections 304B and 498A of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the charges, Lata Rani, a native of Patna, committed suicide following torture and dowry demand by her husband in 1995.
