High alert sounded in UP after Jaipur serial blasts

Lucknow, May 13 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government sounded a high alert in the state following serial blasts in Jaipur this evening.

Security measures have been beefed up after serial blasts were reported in the pink city of Jaipur, official sources said.

Special security has also been enforced in markets, malls, railway stations, hospitals and other crowded places, the sources added.

In Jaipur, three to four blasts took place simultaneously this evening.

Earlier, on November 23, Uttar Pradesh had also witnessed serial blasts in three civil courts of Lucknow, Faizabad and Varanasi.
