Dry weather prevailed over the State

Bangalore, May 13 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Chikkanahalli 1.

Maximum Temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka, appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were remained normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41.3 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature likely to be around 35 degree celsius.
