Criminal escapes from police captivity

Bareilly, May 13 (UNI) An undertrial criminal, who was produced in a local court today, escaped from police captivity.

Shyam Babu was brought from Shahjahanpur district jail for the hearing in the Gangster court.

After the hearing, the criminal hoodwinked the police and fled.

A case has been registered and a manhunt launched.
