Cashier robbed of Rs 3.75 lakh
Kanpur, May 13 (UNI) A cashier was looted of Rs 3.75 lakh, while travelling in an Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus here today.
According to police, Madan Agnihotri, a cashier in three trading companies at Collectorganj here, had gone to collect cash from traders of Gorakhpur and Basti district.
However, when he embarked upon the roadways bus from Lucknow, he was given food laced with sedative by a fellow passenger, who later fled with his bag carring money.
Investigation was on.
