Advocate gunned down in Palamu
Daltonganj, May 13 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants today gunned down an advocate and member of People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) at Redma Chowk in Jharkhand's Palamu district.
Suprintendent of Police Dipak Verma said the deceased, Jawahar Prasad, was returning home when the motorcycle borne assailants shot him dead from point blank range.
Efforts were on to nab the criminals, Mr Verma said.
