4 dead in rain-related incident in Raj

Jaipur, May 13 (UNI) Four people were killed and over 18 injured in rain and storm related incidents in Rajasthan since last evening, sources said today.

Police sources said here that two people, including a four-year-old old girl, were killed and nine others injured in a wall collapse following amid a high velocity dust storm accompanied by vigorous downpour in Painter Colony in the Shastri Nagar area here early today.

One person was killed and seven, including four members of a family, were injured when the wall of a house cavd in a hamlet near Paota town in this district last night.

In another incident, a woman was killed when portion of a room collapsed in the Sikandara area of Dausa district last night.

Two people sustained severe injuries when lightning struck them in the Lalsot area of Dausa district.

Meanwhile, rains and dust storm have been reported from a number of places, including Jaipur.
