Villager dies after beating by ultras; two injured
Chatra, May 12 (UNI) A villager died today after being beaten up by armed squad of proscribed Tritiya Prastuti Committee here late last night, police said.
Two others, thrashed by the ultras, were admitted to the hospital.
Police said more than 50 ultras attacked Duari village under Giddhour block and roughed up three people.
Muhammad Kasim (70) died at the Hazaribagh Sadar hospital, police said adding the ultras had been demanding levy from the villagers.
