Six people killed in a road mishap
Hubli, May 12 (UNI) Six people were killed and Eight others injured when a cement laden truck, in which they were travelling, fell into a road side ditch late last night near Kaginele in Haveri district.
According to police, the lorry fell into the roadside ditch after it hit a pothole on the road as it was raining heavily around 2130 hours. About 15 people travelling and the cement bags fell on them.
Senior police officials including Superintendent of Police Haveri M Nanjundaswamy visited the spot and all the injured were shifted to Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences here.
