Six killed in a road accident

Lucknow, May 12: At least six people including three children were killed and 9 others injured when a jeep carrying them collided head-on with a Roadways bus on the Sitapur Road today.

Police said the jeep was running in a high speed when the accident occurred under Itaunja police station in the state capital.

While five died on the spot, one succumbed to the injury on way to hospital.

The injured have been admitted to the local hospital at Itaunja.
