President prorogues both Houses of Parliament

New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) Both Houses of Parliament, which had begun their Budget Session on February 25, have been prorogued.

According to an official communique, both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha had been prorogued by President Pratibha Patil on Saturday.

The 13th session of the 14th Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die on May 5 and the Rajya Sabha the following day.
